Hi guys, I said in the last post that there will not be any MindBeepTuesday posts for a while, but I had a good idea in my mind and it was just a few hours before Tuesday, So I thought why the hell not, So I present to you The Latest MindBeepTuesday with Breakdown and Analysis at the end to help you better understand my vision. Also there might be some grammatical discrepancies here and there but I don't proof read my stuff, Best Blogger India BTW.

My ink runs dry as each day passes by, I am not any beautiful quill either just an ordinary ugly pen. I was greeted with immense joy when first bought as I was cheap. I was meant for rough work as they say. All I can hear now is the scratching of paper against my tips, Growing tremendous by each day as I run low. I fear being replaced, after all I am used to the touch now. You keep me in the shadows of your pockets and hurl me out when you need me, you throw my cap away and shout at me for that, Sometimes I choke up and you shake me vigorously, I almost cough up all my ink. Although I resent you, I am hopeless without you, I know that you are using me but I still show up, I don't know why but I do, maybe because I have no other purpose than to be used by you. But today I can't breathe maybe the toxin has choked me enough, I know today will be the day when you finally replace me with the quill you'd been eyeing.

Breakdown and Analysis:
What my intent with this piece of work was to draw a parallel between a person using a use and throw pen and a person in a toxic relationship. I start with a first person narrative from the perspective from the pen who seems to be talking with the audience while also simultaneously addressing it's user at times. Next up the line, "I am not any beautiful quill either just an ordinary ugly pen.", is used to assert to the reader that the pen is not a fancy one but just an ordinary one, also drawing a parallel how sometimes a rather not good looking person sometimes get used in a relationship. The pen was greeted with immense joy because it was cheap, Maybe the person who was lured into the relationship was desperate and easy to get, hence the joy. Why do people usually buy a cheap pen for practicing Math sums maybe for practicing handwriting, rough work in short, This draws a parallel of how some people get into relationships for just passing their time and not looking for someone to love. The scratching further symbolizes the rough usage. The pen now fears being replaced, "because it is used to the touch.", This further goes on to draw the parallel with toxic relationships as to how the victim does not want to leave or confront the perpetrator of the pain. "You keep me in the shadows of your pockets and hurl me out when you need me, you throw my cap away and shout at me for that, Sometimes I choke up and you shake me vigorously, I almost cough up all my ink.", This line here shows that the pen knows that it is being used and that it is ignored when it is not needed and only "hurled out" when needed. Even for a slight mess up the person involved in this fictitious toxic relationship is shouted at. The pen feels hopeless without it's user and hence longs for them. "But today I can't breathe maybe the toxin has choked me enough, I know today will be the day when you finally replace me with the quill you'd been eyeing.", The pen has reached the end of his limits now and will finally perish and it knows that the user will replace it with the more fancy quill now, This goes on to show the final moments of a toxic relation when the user finally decides to get rid of the other person because they found a better bet.
